Frances Brady

Funeral services for Frances Brady, 85, of Jefferson will be 10:30 am Saturday June 25th at Central Christian Church, Jefferson. Interment will be at the Jefferson Cemetery. Friends may call at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson after 12 noon Friday. The family will greet friends at the funeral home between 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday. Frances Virginia Brady, daughter of Fern D. and Mary Skow Neal, was born on July 28, 1919 in Moorhead, Iowa. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1937. She attended nurses training at the Methodist Hospital in Sioux City and graduated as an LPN from Fort Dodge Community College. Frances was married to Byron Brady on August 16, 1940 in Dakota City, NE. She was employed as an LPN at the Greene County Hospital for many years before retiring in 1982. Frances was an active member of the Jefferson Central Christian Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Floyd Neal, and sister, Jean Hansen. Survivors include her husband Byron Brady, Jefferson; her daughter, Mary Rozendaal, Wenatchee, WA; her son, Michael Brady, Painted Post, NY; 5 grandchildren, Erica Holland, Hubert, NC; Rebecca Olson, St. Paul Park, MN; Alan Rozendaal, Portland, OR; Kevin Rozendaal, San Francisco, CA and Margaret Rozendaal, Houston, TX and 4 great grandsons. Also surviving are her sister, Genevive Neal, Seattle, WA and brother, Charles Neal, Ames, IA. Memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church of Jefferson, Iowa.
