Marilyn Rowles Jefferson, Iowa formerly of Grand Junction, Iowa Date of Death: July 20, 2019 Funeral services for Marilyn Rowles, 92, of Jefferson and formerly of Grand Junction, will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Grand Junction. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 – 7:00pm Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson, with a Vigil For The Deceased beginning at 7:00pm. Wednesday, the family will visit with friends beginning at 9:30am at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, one hour prior to the funeral. Memorials are suggested to the Mount Calvary Cemetery Fund [Grand Junction] or St. Joseph Catholic Church. Margaret Marilyn Rowles was born on March 31, 1927 to Tom and Teresa (Schall) Gannon. Marilyn was an active member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, Iowa, 9 Holers Golf League at Apache Wells in Mesa, Arizona, and numerous clubs and organizations. She was always willing to share her time and talents with others. Marilyn enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, golfing, fishing and square dancing. Her favorite times, though, were the ones spent with her family and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by Warren, her husband of over 62 years; her daughter-in-law Judy Rowles; and her granddaughter Teresa Fagen. Marilyn is survived by her children Lynn (Dennis) Havlicek of Veseli, Minnesota; Rosemary (Dominic) Riccordino of Oak Lawn, Illinois; Peggy (Steve) Fagen of Perry, Iowa; and Tom (Jayne) Rowles of Oxford, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
