Comer Grand Junction, IA Date of Death: June 28, 2020 Graveside services for Rick Comer, 64, of Grand Junction, IA will be held at 10:30am Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Violet Hill Cemetery, Perry, Iowa. Fr. John Gerald of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson will officiate. Ricky Eugene Comer was born January 31, 1956 to Eugene (Gene) and Marjorie (Kiner) Comer in Perry, Iowa. Rick grew up and graduated high school in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He worked briefly in the music business and then worked construction for most of his life. Rick moved to Grand Junction, Iowa in 1982 where he lived until his death. Rick never met a stranger. He was a friend to all. His antics and fun-loving nature amused everyone. Ricky died June 28, 2020 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie of Cheyenne, Wyoming; brother, Edward (Nikkie) of Tennessee; sister, Kathleen (Steve) Lansford of Denver, Colorado; much family and many, many friends.
