Funeral services for Rose Maile, 75, of Jefferson, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday June 15, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jefferson, with burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. At 7:00pm Thursday is the Vigil for the Deceased at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, followed by visitation with the family until 8:30pm. Rosaline Jean Peter, daughter of Frank X. Peter and Anna Gruber Peter, was born May 5, 1932 in Carroll County, Iowa. Rose graduated from St. Joseph’s grade school in May 1947. She worked for Liz Grossman for a few years. In 1950, Rose went to Coon Rapids and worked at the South Side Café, then the D & D Café until 1960. She then moved to Jefferson and worked at the Maid-Rite for four years. She married Dean Hagaman in 1960. He passed away in September 1968. After working at the Maid-Rite, Rose was employed at Bordenaro Grocery Store in Jefferson. She started working at Franklin Manufacturing Company on March 28, 1969; where she met Clyde Maile. Rose and Clyde were marred October 21, 1973. On May 5, 1991, Rose retired from Franklin Manufacturing. Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson. Rose died June 13, 2007 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. She was 75 years ofage. Preceding her in death were her parents, and 2 sisters, Marie Danner and Lucille Ziegman. Survivors include her husband Clyde Maile of Jefferson; brothers; Alfred Peter and Robert Peter, both of Dedham; sisters; Betty Riesenberg of Carroll, Dorothy Ziegman of Wall Lake, Theresa Riesenberg of Halbur, Carol Irlmeier of Glidden and Frances Wieland of Templeton. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson.
